Make Money Selling Second Hand Books On Amazon

This is my own article and can be found at http://www.thearticleking.com. Basically I do this part time and make a good part time income from it.

This is an easy business that anyone can start and with no initial start up costs. There are thousands of people everyday listing their second hand books on Amazon with an immediate customer base of millions. It is so easy. First of all look for all the books around your home that you no longer want. Once you have your books at the ready then register on the the site which will literally take ten minutes or so.Listing the books on the site is extremely easy as you enter the international book standard number and it will automatically bring up your book. You then can see the market price for your used book. I would recommend entering your book price at one penny less than the nearest person which ensures you get a low price tag next to your book. You then just click and complete your listing. You will then send you a sold dispatch now email when the book is sold and you mail the book to your customer.Once you need more stock I recommend looking at the local charity shops and libraries. Also car boot sales and fairs are very good too. I have bought books for 25p and sold them for 20 pound and this happens weekly. Not every category of book will sell extremely well so it is very important to avoid modern fiction titles. There are literally thousands of used books in this category on amazon and you will not be able to generate income with these types of books. You should really be looking for older books with a hobby connotation. Good examples of these could be music, religion, self help, military, arts and crafts, sports and poetry to name but a few.It is very easy to get the hang of and in time you will easily be able to identify what sells and what does not sell. I also personally sell dvd's online too but you must make sure that your dvd works before sending out to a customer because good customer feedback is very important in this business. Having said that dvd's are fast moving items and can easily make you a lot of money. If you have a library online of about one hundred books or so then you can be expecting to sell about 30 books or so a month. When you reach this level of sales then it makes it worthwhile to become a regitestered book seller. This costs 25 pound a month but also cuts the 85p charge that amazon puts on your account every time a book sells. Of course the organisation needs to make some income from the arrangement with yourself but as you can see the 30 book per month and over limit makes it a viable business decision.Another top tip is to try and keep your books small to medium in size to save on the postage costs. They are quite generous and will give you a good postage allowance when selling your books but on very large books you will actually lose out. Having said that school textbooks and educational books are very good sellers and can attract prices over 20 pounds or so therefore I would make an exception for those type of books. This really is an easy business to operate and amazon provide an excellect online forum so you can talk to other sellers and also gets lots of good tips and advice. Also as I mentioned at the beginning there are no initial overheads and once you get yourself committed to this business it is incredibly fun and rewarding. When I see those sold dispatch now emails coming through I never fail to get excited and so will you once you start your own online book selling service.

Article - Questions to Ask Your Lawyer

Here is an article from Charles Kassotis of www.lawyerget.com . Another very popular article at www.thearticleking.com.

When looking for a lawyer to handle a personal legal matter, you can usually find one by contacting the local bar association or an attorney referral service in your area. If those don't pan out, try the state bar association or word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied friends, family members, or coworkers. After getting the names of two or three attorneys that specialize in the area for which you need assistance, make an appointment to "interview" each lawyer before you decide which one to retain as legal counsel. Some lawyers offer a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your case and see whether client and attorney suit each other. Here are some questions you may want to ask:1. How long have you specialized in this type of law? If the attorney has recently switched from probate to criminal law, and you are accused of committing a crime, you may want to look for a more experienced attorney. On the other hand, perhaps this attorney has been assisting a partner with criminal cases, or has done extensive work in this area previously. Find out if there is enough evidence to warrant your trust in this particular attorney for handling your case.2. What are your fees? Never retain an attorney who is vague about the cost of his or her services, or about the type of expenses you may have to pay. While it is natural to be unsure of an exact price for copying, telephone, and postage costs, the attorney should be able to give you a ballpark figure, as well as any potential costs for expert testimony, including depositions, interrogatories, or videotaping sessions and travel fees. Try to get an estimate in writing of at least the attorney's fee. Many charge by the hour or by the procedure, such as a $1,500 divorce. Others are required to collect a portion, like one-third, of any awards made in personal injury cases, for example. 3. What are the chances of success for my case? This will apply to issues of litigation where you are suing someone in court. You want to get a percentage, like 60 percent or 20 percent, of what the outcome is likely to be. For other types of cases, such as estate planning, you can change the question to relate to matters involving your anticipated estate plan with applicable taxes.4. How often can I expect to hear from you? A competent attorney should be in regular contact with a client to provide status updates, even if there isn't much to report. A monthly phone call, email, or letter will help to allay worries and confirm hearing dates so that you don't get disconnected from the legal process for months at a time.5. What is the likely course of my case? Your attorney should be able to give you a clear outline of what to expect. Some types of cases might require a few meetings with the attorney. Others might demand court appearances and deposition sessions. Sketch a timeline of projected activity so you can plan accordingly. After comparing attorney responses to your questions, you may be in a better position to choose the attorney who will work most effectively to protect your interests.

Article - Veil in the UK right or wrong?

Here is a recent article which I have written and has sparked a lot of debate recently here in the UK. Post your comments if you wish.

This has sparked a major debate in the UK on whether or not the full veil known as the hijab should or should not be worn in public. In this article I will look into the pros and cons in this argument beginning with why the veil should not be worn in public in the UK.There is an argument that says that for generations in England, women have fought for full equality. The veil is an outward and visible sign of the subservience of women in the more conservative male dominated muslim sects. As such it is unacceptable to the host community which is still predominantly liberal, tolerant and Christian. It is only a small step from the veil to hanging women for adultery. This is not a Muslim state and will never be one. The old adage "when in Rome do what the Romans do" can easily apply here.At the end of the day this is England where everybody should follow the English way. When you speak to a person you should give them eye contact and how can you do that when you can't see their face. What about face to face contact when you can not see somebody's face. Whilst any person lives in England you follow the tradition's and culture of England. Like it or move somewhere else. The other side of the coin in this debate centres on Britain being a multi culturalist society and we should respect and welcome the traditions of other religions in this country. We believe in the right of freedom of expression so it should be perfectly acceptable for a muslim woman to wear the hijab whenever and wherever she likes if she is not hurting other people. How on earth can the veil make you feel uncomfortable?. You can see her eyes and hear her voice what more do you need to see. Women who prance around 'half naked' wearing vest tops, bra tops and bikini tops are the ones who offend and make other people uncomfortable. That compared to the veil is nothing. The veil is a good thing and nothing bad comes from it as result from wearing it.I have looked at both sides of this debate and written about many of the sensitive issues involved. I will now express my own conclusions on the subject.I think there are a lot of different groups who get up in arms over things instead of trying to understand why the problem has arisen in the first place. As far as I understand Jack Straw is not commanding the women of Blackburn to take off their veils. he has asked politely, its their choice if they want to or not.If muslims believe that women should cover their face then let them. Its a belief and as a multi cultural society we should accept that. When someone notes that those who hide their faces might find it difficult to integrate. This comment should not be a cause for outrage but understanding. Why do people find it difficult to talk to someone who covers their face? Why should not seeing who you are talking to make you uneasy.Jack Straw has opened an interesting debate, the best outcome can only come from seeing why it has been said in the first place instead of getting outraged and setting up defencesMaybe if we all wore blindfolds we'd appreciate each others personality regardless of what we are wearing.

Article - The Difference Between an Optimist and a Pessimist

Great article this from Saleem Rana. It's more than just the glass being half full or half empty you know!.

Optimist: There is nothing more important than feeling good.Pessimist: Come again? Didn't I just tell you how bad everything isOptimist: When you feel good you raise your vibrations. You get what you prefer. You send out a frequency that brings you what you love. When you feel miserable, you're setting yourself up to miscreate your reality. Your pain is a signal for you to change. It's a warning blip on the radar of your mind. The easiest thing you can do to change your life is to feel good. Finding ways to feel good opens the pathways to your preference. It is so much easier to feel good. It is so much easier to get into health, clarity, and love, when you feel good. And it is so much easier to create the life you want that way. When you feel bad, you're pointing your car down the wrong side of the freeway. Sooner or later, you're going to hit an oncoming car.Pessimist:You just don't understand, do you?Optimist:I understand how you can feel bad-nothing is working out for you. Your bills aren't paid and your rent is due and your car doesn't work and your kids are out of control and your boss and coworkers hate you, and, and, and...but you just have to do it...you have to train yourself to feel good. You see, all this is happening because you feel bad about what's bad.Pessimist: Yeah, right! So how do you feel good when everything is bad?Optimist: You fake it-until you make it.Pessimist:I gotcha! You're a positive thinking nut!Optimist: This is not about positive thinking: this is about positive vibrating. Your brain is an electromagnetic generator. It throws out thoughts all the time that affect your body and your world. And it brings to itself thoughts of a similar kind. You get to feel more of what you're already feeling and observe the circumstances to justify it.Naturally, when bad things happen you react to them--but, this sets in motion more bad things to come your way. It's a vicious circle, I know. I understand how unnatural and forced it feels to try and feel good when things are going badly...but, but...it's the only way to turn things around. And when you feel good, then good things start happening. Somehow, for some strange reason, you find more people who seem to like you, and you find new ideas and new solutions, and you have happy accidents that spontaneously take care of those horrible disasters. And people for some reason want to pay you more and help you more and just be around you more.Pessimist: This is way too simple! Do you realize how much time I spend trying to figure things out?Optimist: I'd try to make this more complex if I knew how.All I can say is that you always get to choose how you want to feel about anything. If I were you, I'd start to feel good. Reasons why will soon start showing up.

Article - The Pornographic Nature Of Spam

This is the most popular article at the moment at http://www.thearticleking.com. It is written by Bradley Smith and his site is http://www.thespamblockers.com .

One of the most common types of emails to be sent as spam includes those that have a pornographic and sexual nature to them. These emails are usually sent to thousands of people each day, including teens and children. Some of the pornographic emails are illusive to what can be had by clicking a link while others promptly display images of sexual related actions right in the email. In either case, both are dangerous and both should be worrisome to anyone that gets them. The Obvious ProblemSpam is commonly sent to many people and those groups of emails can be anyone from the elderly, the guy working, the teen after school or even the elementary student whose parents are not providing proper email blockage for them. The obvious problem with pornographic and sexually natured emails is that they get into the hands of the wrong person. Children including teens can and do receive it.Beyond This: The WorkplaceConsider your work email account that you use daily. Should sexually explicit emails be sent through your work account, they could in fact be considered harassment. That can lead to numerous problems. Should an email with pornographic images be clicked on and this type of material downloaded onto the work related computer, there could be countless legal liability problems for the business. As an employer, it is your job to protect your employees from this type of harassment. Some companies have even been prosecuted for not doing so.Even Worse: The ComputerMany of the spam emails you'll get that include pornographic images are actually filled with spyware, adware, malware and commonly viruses. Some are simple advertisements to get you to the sexually natured website, but this is rare and usually the result is one click downloads or drive by downloads that get your computer filled with viruses and spyware, costing you hundreds of dollars to remove them.As you can see, spam that contains pornographic images is often some of the most malicious on the web. Exploiting all types of acts, even those that involve children or abuse, these emails are quite vulgar and disruptive. On top of harming your senses and insulting, they are also some of the most dangerous forms of spam as they continuously have viruses and spyware attached to them. Pornographic spam is some of the worst types you can get. Protecting from it is hard to do, too. That makes it even harder to rein it in.

Do you know what it takes to sell a million copies of your book

This is another very popular article from www.thearticleking.com . It is written by Marvin Cloud who owns www.mybestseller.com .

Almost everyone who contacts my office about helping them with their book publishing needs, believe they have the next million-copy seller. Because do not make a habit of stepping on anyone's dreams, I always listen politely before asking the question: "How do you propose to sell 1,000,000 copies?"Usually, I get the same answer: "Everybody in the world will want this book ... " Most people cannot fathom, what it takes to sell 100,000 copies, 10,000 copies or 1,000 copies for that matter, let alone 1,000,000 copies.According to the Author's Guild, a successful fiction book sells 5,000 copies and a successful nonfiction book sells 7,500 copies. Major publishing companies will take a book on if they believe it can sell at least 50,000 copies. However, the statistics for self-publishers prove dismal. The largest author services companies report:An average of 100 copies sold per title.14.3% of authors sell more than 200 copies.3.4% of authors sell more than 500 copies. Why then, do we see so many people writing books and seeking to be on the New York Times' bestseller list? Simply put, because you never know where your book will wind up. According to the New York Times' (Edward Watts, March 15, 2006) "Joel Osteen, a television evangelist, has signed a book deal with Free Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, that publishing insiders say is potentially one of the richest for a nonfiction book and could bring the author more than $10 million."While his book Your Best Life Now is good, the marketing machine behind it really caused him to sell three to four million copies. As senior pastor of the "nation's largest church" with a media ministry that reaches 200 million households, Osteen could write the Gospel of Humpty Dumpty and sell thousands of copies easily. The point being, he used his circle of influence, brilliantly, I might add. You must do the same. I know you probably don't possess the same scope, but the principles remain the same.1. Who do you know?2. Who knows you?3. How can you reach them? You should start "selling" your book while in the process writing it. I don't believe in "stealth" writing, where you hide away from the world and never let anyone know about your project until it is completed. Of course, you want to be selective, but if it takes you two years to write your manuscript, plus another six months, nine months or more for production, that is time that would be well spent in marketing your book.Start by making a complete contact list of your relatives, friends, associates, business relationships, memberships, etc. Call, write or email them and let them know about your book and the expected completion date. Ask them to help you spread the word. They may also know of networking or speaking opportunities whereby you can pitch your book - before it is published. The idea is to leverage your contacts as much as you can. Prompt them for a commitment to buy multiple books at a discount or with a special incentive once the book is published. That way there is a possibility that you will already have hundreds or thousands or customers waiting for your release. Once it is out, follow the rule of five as outlined by John Kremer, author of 1001 Ways To Market Your Book. Kremer states, "All you have to do is follow this one rule: Do five promotions a day. That's it. Do five promotions each and every day (with a day off every once in a while for good behavior). Make a phone call. Write a letter to an important editor. Send out a catalog to a key sales contact. Handwrite a little note on the news release you send to targeted media. Make a follow-up phone call. Do at least five promotions a day, and within a year you'll have made over 1,500 prime contacts. I guarantee you that if you make five legitimate contacts each and every day for a year, you'll make sales. But you have to be consistent. That's the inside secret. Now that you know it, do something about it."

Article - Is Banking Account Online Really Safe?

I am continuing to post the most popular articles from my site www.thearticleking.com . This article is obviously of concern to many people. It is written by Dave Poon of www.gofinancialsphere.com .

The history of banking dates back to the ancient times; in fact, the earliest banks were the ancient religious temples. People then stored their golds and other precious belongings in the temples because these places were strongly built, were always guarded, and most of all, were sacred. In ancient Greece, financial transactions were also done in temples and credit notes were already being used to reduce risks in carrying and carting money from one place to another. Since those times, banking evolved in many aspects. Banking regulations were formulated, additional services such as lending became part of banking and things such as adding interest to loans became common bank practices. Now with the emergence of the latest technologies and the Internet, banking has taken a new face. People can now access bank account online and transact business with the bank with greater convenience and security through the Internet.Online Banking Performing bank transactions through the Internet is generally referred to as online banking or Internet banking. This form of banking allows consumers to directly access their bank account online (usually savings account) and obtain any information about their account. This direct-to-consumer system is faster and more convenient for consumers compared to traditional banking systems. Especially if you are to withdraw money after banking hours, this banking system may be your easiest and sole solution. You just have to connect to the Internet trough your personal computer and access your bank account in an instant.Online-only banks Many popular banks offer online banking as one of their services; however there are also some banks that transact businesses solely online, so you have no other choice but to access your bank account online and avail of other bank services through the Internet. The latter are referred to as online-only banks. These banks virtually exist yet they provide services traditional banks offer, only that they are done through the Internet. Benefits Today as more and more time are consumed by people in using the Internet in several activities, including getting access to their bank account online, online-only banks proved to be more convenient and beneficial. Aside from the fast transactions, one may also benefit from the bank's high interest rates and budget-friendly transaction fees considering that online-only banks operate only online. Cost of processing bank transactions are relatively lower so the bank can afford to give consumers high interest rates on savings account.Online Banking IndustryAlthough a lot are using the Internet, online-only banking industry began to grow only sometime in 2000 when a popular online bank devised much simpler and more convenient banking transactions online and paid consumers high interest rates. Earlier banks that tried this form of banking did not succeed because of their expensive transaction fees and lower interest rates. Moreover, procedures in getting access to bank accounts online were more complicated and consumers were afraid of Internet fraud. The industry eventually grew bigger and more stable beginning 2003 as the use of the Internet got more commonplace, prevalent and secure.

Tips For Buying A Used Car

This article is from my sister blog http://kellybluebookplanet.blogspot.com . This blog will tell you everything you want to know about the Kelley Blue Book and buying and selling used cars.

This article is by Mr. M.D. Robinson http://www.cool-tips.com/cars .Buying a car is the second most expensive purchase, after a house. It is therefore important to consider budget and the main purpose that you will put your car too. Are you going to use it for shopping trips and family outings or are you going to be out on the road alot. If youclock up lots of those gas guzzling miles every year a diesel engine car is worth considering Reliability and maintenance are also important considerations. Although, ultimately the make, the model and condition of car you purchase will be determined by your budget, therefore look at your needs, and see if your budget will allow for them. Also look at reliable consumer research periodicals, that have tested different makes and models of car for reliability, safety and cost of ownership. It is advisable to do your homework first, whether buying from a car lot or a private seller, so you do not pay over the odds because you had no idea of the true value of what you have bought. This can be done quiet easily by looking through different magazines and other publications selling cars. cars of the same make and model should have a similar sale price. If you are considering a used car ,then it is advisable to pay a small fee to get an inspection by a qualified person, this is money well spent to avoid any costly repairs afterwards. A well looked after car will have a service record, be diligent and check the service record thoroughly, get intouch with the garage that serviced the vehicle to make sure it is genuine. Also have 'hire purchase' check to make sure there are no outstanding payments left on the vehicle. If you cannot get hold of qualified person to look the vehicle over for you, then there some very simple and basic checks you can make yourself. Look for rust on the bodywork and chips in the paintwork. Inside check the seats are not ripped or have excesive wear and tear, check to see the foot pedals and steering wheel are all consistent with milage and age of vehicle. It is important that you take a test drive of the actual car you are buying. test drive it properly and make sure the vehicle is safe, check to make sure the brakes work properly and are not worn or leaking any fluid. Finally think carefully before making the final decision, make sure it is logical and not impulsive.Ideally test drive a few different cars before handing your hard earned cash over. good luck.Article Source: http://www.thearticleking.com

Blog and Blogging Make Cash and have Fun

Here is an article that I wrote and can be found at my article website www.thearticleking.com

If writing is an art, then, blogging is one way of using words to come up with an art. This is because people who are into blogging are the ones who are artistic on their own sense, carefully choosing words that would best describe their feelings, sentiments, wishes, desires, and everything.Basically, blogs were first introduced as weblogs that refer to a servers log file. It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Since its inception in the mid-1990s, web logging gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a viable source of greater information. However, with web logging, you still need a web site and domain names, but with blogging, you do not need anything just an account with blog providers. In most cases, these kinds of blogs are free of charge. With the onset of blogging in the industry, personal journaling had been a common ground for people who wish to be known all over the world. However, not literally famous as this is not a case on being popular or well-known personality.Generally, blogs are created for personal use. Like a journal, people can write their daily adventures, sentiments, and whatever ideas they want to express online.Nevertheless, with the advent of the online businesses, blogs had gradually taken the limelight in providing businesses a chance to boost their productivity online. This is where the business blogs have taken the limelight.Business blogs are, basically, created to advertise the services or products of a certain web site or online business in order to increase online sales. Moreover, business blogs are also one way of promoting the company so that the other readers will know that a certain company exists online. With blogs, entrepreneurs are able to establish a name in the virtual market through articles that can be very useful in the readers life. From there, you can make money out of blogs by simply syndicating it to your business web site. This can be done through the RSS technology. So, if you are thinking to create a blog, whether for business or for pleasure, you need to know some tips that could help you get through and make your blog one of the interesting blogs online.Heres how:1. Consider your audienceEven if your blog is generally personal, still, it would be better to consider the minds of your readers. You have to think of something that would interest them. After all, most of the reasons of people who write blogs are not at all confined to their own personal motives. Most of them would love to be heard or read and would love to be known, in some way or another, even for just a minute. Hence, it is very important to come with a write up that everybody can understand, not necessarily that these people can relate to it but they can understand it.2. Pictures speaks a thousand wordsTo make your blogging worth the browsing effort of your readers, it would be extremely nice if you will put some pictures in it. It does not necessarily mean you have to place a picture of yourself. Any photographs will do as long as it does not pose danger or insult to anyone who will be reading your blog.3. Make constructive and beneficial blogsEven if you are free to write anything you wan to say to the world, still, it would be better to create some write-ups that would be beneficial to your readers. After all, its information technology that you have there so better be inclined to provide information rather than sheer quirky entertainment.4. Avoid making multifaceted and complicated blogsIn order to have an interesting blogs, try not to use some highly technical and highfalutin words. After all, it is not a science discourse or a debate that you are making, so better stick to simple facts and short blogs.Bear in mind that most people who use the Internet usually do more scanning than scrutinizing each site word for word. Therefore, it would be better to come with blogs that will not bore your readers just because you have these lengthy articles.5. Make it interactiveAs much as possible and if your capacity will allow it, make your blog interactive. Yu can do this by placing some video or audio clips in your blog. You can even place an area for comments or for some feedbacks. In this way, you can get some impressions or reactions of other people. Is Depression a sign of Intelligence?

Currently my most popular article at http://www.thearticleking.com . This article is written by Friedrich Asen

Are you depressive? Congratulation, there is every reason to be. It is quite normal. I would say that only an insane person would not be depressive in a world like this. Open any magazine, newspaper, watch TV or listen to the radio. There is disaster, corruption, cheating, catastrophes, heart breaking cruelty, misery, drama, hatred, war and crime everywhere. What to speak of the common problems of life: Disease, old age and death. The ancient Indian scripture called Bhagavta Purana describes modern reality as follows: "When there is a predominance of cheating, lying, sloth, sleepiness, violence, depression, lamentation, bewilderment, fear and poverty, that age is Kali, the age of the mode of ignorance."It seems to be the reaction of at least a somewhat healthy mind to become depressive in the face of all these horrible things, in the face of death and disease, which might strike at every moment. In the same old Vedic scripture of ancient India it is said: "Padam padam yad vipadam na tesam. This is a world, where there is danger at every step." Who could deny it? This indeed is very depressing. So, to me at least, it seems that each and every person not suffering from depression must be either blind or have found some other shelter in a place, which is devoid of all these calamities. I would suggest that the majority of people dragging along according to the motto "Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we shall die" fits into the latter category. It is a main ingredient of material life, especially its modern variation, to forget. Ignorance keeps the masses dragging on.People are eager to numb their minds. Drug abuse, sex addiction, TV addiction, eating, drinking, everything just to forget the miseries of life, which would be unbearable otherwise. Their mind is so dull that they cannot afford to be depressive. They have taken shelter in ignorance and a superficial life of cheap, fleeting and unfulfilling sense gratification. But there are those healthy people who dare to be depressive. While the former cannot be helped so easily according to the statement "It's folly to be wise where ignorance is bliss", the latter are more open for advice. They actually KNOW that this sort of life IS depressing. They do not deny it. They don't escape. They sometimes even do not respond to therapeutic treatment, which's only aim is to scatter the sane considerations of the depressive client to make him believe, against the obvious facts, that everything is alright. It is interesting that those who blame metaphysically oriented people to be escapists all the while have nothing else to do than to use every and all means just to make them forget depressing reality. Who is an escapist? The one, who sees life as it is, with all the war, disease, death and cruelty, or the one who refuses to do so? And nevertheless he calls himself a "realist"! And, admittedly, there are nice things in this world, too. But this does not change things for the better, but for the worse. It is like enjoying ice cream, delicious fresh ice cream, with sand in it. This could drive you crazy.I remember an incident over a quarter of a century ago, when I talked with my eldest sister about happiness. Together with my father we were out for a walk at my grandma's place, when the discussion came to this subject. I said to her that people have no real standard of happiness. They actually take ignorance as a substitute. Therefore their enjoyment - hampered by the mode of ignorance - is very shallow and superficial. I added that it is important to enlighten them about this fact. My sister did not agree at all. "If they are happy, leave them alone", was all she said. I grew so angry that my loud voice drew the attention of my father. At that point I stopped the conversation, being totally frustrated my sister. Although I know that her response was the consequence of her own ignorance and fear, today I can at least appreciate one very important point she made. There is no use to force people to acknowledge the brutal facts of this material life, culminating in the fact that one day - and it could approach at every moment - we have to leave everything behind. They will not appreciate you pulling the carpet from under their feet. We have at the same time show them an alternative, a better way of life. It is a sign of intelligence to be depressive. It shows at least that a person does not bury his or head in sand like an ostrich. He or she is too intelligent to believe the old saying "Out of sight, out of mind.".But depression is no solution. It is even more intelligent to ask whether there is any other way out from this tragedy than just ignorance. And there is. But this is the second part of the story.

Making Money Selling Used Books On Amazon

I wrote this article and this is what I do in my part time and I recommend this to everyone. Enjoy the article and come to http://www.thearticleking.com for more like this.

This is an easy business that anyone can start and with no initial start up costs. There are thousands of people everyday listing their second hand books on Amazon with an immediate customer base of millions. It is so easy. First of all look for all the books around your home that you no longer want. Once you have your books at the ready then register on the Amazon site which will literally take ten minutes or so.Listing the books on the site is extremely easy as you enter the international book standard number and it will automatically bring up your book. You then can see the market price for your used book. I would recommend entering your book price at one penny less than the nearest person which ensures you get a low price tag next to your book. You then just click and complete your listing. Amazon will then send you a sold dispatch now email when the book is sold and you mail the book to your customer.Once you need more stock I recommend looking at the local charity shops and libraries. If you have an amazon library online of about one hundred books or so then you can be expecting to sell about 30 books or so a month. When you reach this level of sales then it makes it worthwhile to become an amazon book seller. This costs 25 pound a month but also cuts the 85p charge that amazon puts on your account every time a book sells. Of course Amazon needs to make some income from the arrangment with yourself but as you can see the 30 book per month and over limit makes it a viable business decision.Another top tip is to try and keep your books small to medium in size to save on the postage costs. Amazon are quite generous and will give you a good postage allowance when selling your books but on very large books you will actually lose out. Having said that school textbooks and educational books are very good sellers and can attract prices over 20 pounds or so therefore I would make an exception for those type of books. This really is an easy business to operate and amazon provide an excellect online forum so you can talk to other amazon sellers and also gets lots of good tips and advice. Also as I mentioned at the beginning there are no initial overheads and once you get yourself committed to this business it is incredibly fun and rewarding. When I see those sold dispatch now emails coming through I never fail to get excited and so will you once you start your own online book selling service. So what are you waiting for, go and grab your old books from the shelves and loft and get your own business started. I hope I have enthused you enough to get started and I wish you all the very best in your book hunting adventures from now on. So from one book worm to another good luck and all the very best.
